We’ll welcome the energies of the season as we open to the sacred plant medicine of cacao**, a gentle ally and guide for reflection and refocusing as we transition through the wheel of the year. A great time to look at what is calling to be let go of, making room to focus on what’s important to us.
The Autumn Equinox is also known as Mabon, a significant time of year observed in ancient times by the Celts and today by many nature-based spiritual traditions. As the second of three harvest festivals, Mabon represents a time of balance, where day and night are equal, and serves as a moment for reflection on the abundance gathered throughout the year. It is a period for expressing gratitude, assessing personal and spiritual growth, and preparing for the inward journey that the darker half of the year brings. Within the context of the Wheel of the Year, Mabon signifies the transition from the vitality of summer to the introspective nature of autumn, reminding us of the ongoing cycles of life, death, and rebirth that govern both the Earth and our personal journeys.
We’ll sip cacao together, then experience a guided meditation with music as we invite the energies of cacao and the season to be our allies. A process of transmuting what is no longer needed will be offered, as well as time in community to reflect and connect. We’ll open to the power of gratitude and of a deeper connection to self.

**Cacao is the raw, unprocessed form of chocolate that comes from the seeds of the Theobroma cacao tree. I exclusively serve Keith’s Cacao, from small family farms in Guatemala, lightly processed to retain the nutrients that make it a superfood, full of heart-opening qualities of theobromine and much more.
